My Students

The students I teach are full of curiosity! I find they are always wanting to know more. With so much energy and wonder, there is never a dull moment in the classroom. It is exciting so see them engaged!

My students bring an array of culture and experiences to our class!

It is great seeing children with so many different backgrounds coming together to explore and grow together. Each day we learn more about each other and find we all have things in common.

My Project

Literacy is such a huge part of education and is crucial in the success of each student. What better way to get excited about reading than to get a really good book?

Help me get some great books into my students' hands!

To engage my students and get them interested in reading, we try to teach through book clubs. Book clubs are best when there are stories we can relate to.

This project will help update our book club book options with newer authors and stories we can relate to. This will allow students to be truly engaged in their learning.
