My thirty students this year are a very special group. They are just getting ready to start the year and I'm looking forward to it! They will start strong by learning routines and really looking out for each other.
I share a lot about myself with them over the first few weeks of the year and I love the opportunity to learn a lot about them as well.
I can't wait to get the year started and put some of these materials to use!
My Project
These materials that I have put in the shopping cart are the basic materials that all students need to start the year effectively. The basic Dixon Ticonderoga pencils are every teacher's dream because they are the only ones that actually sharpen in a pencil sharpener. The same goes for the Glue-All glue. This glue is amazing and it makes life easy on the kids when they are creating. Nothing is more frustrating than creating something and glue is not holding so it becomes a giant mess. The oil pastels and pens will be used daily in our writer's workshop along with many other projects throughout our year. Thank you!
