Of my school's 2,910 students, 10.5% receive Special Education Services and 11.3% are classified as English Language Learners. A full 93% of our students come from low-income families. We are a large urban high school in Chicago, Illinois.
I teach five classes of diverse learners who need new backpacks and school supplies to be successful in school.
Students' backpacks are ripping apart and are held together by duck tape. My students need supplies to get organized and finish the school year strong.
Students see and hear spring around the corner. At this point in the school year, their backpacks are falling apart, notebooks are running out of space and pens and pencils are hard to find.
Inspire us with new supplies so we can finish the school year strong!
I teach 100 students in a day, but a small group of 10 needs supplies to help them come to school ready to learn. I would like to provide them with a new backpack, a nice notebook, and a few nice gel pens and mechanical pencils.
Your donation will make a big impact in their lives and learning.
