This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how excited a student gets when they see new books on display. The students usually rush back to me and tell me what they loved about their books. I'm so encouraged by the love of reading at our school. These materials will provide different levels of learning for each and every student that comes through my door. If a student needs realistic fiction I now have different books to chose from or if they would like to check out a book on 9/11 I now can give them that opportunity.
