This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
It's time for Global Read Aloud 2022! Students all over the world, literally, all over the world, read the book chosen for 2022. As the book is read, we make connections with other classrooms who are reading the same book
In all the years I have participated in GRA, I have never had a student dislike the book that has been chosen.
Great novels, like "Thirst" not only provide a platform to practice reading skills but also offers perspectives from a diverse group of characters, giving the students a view of the world around them.
The connections made with other students around the world amplify my students' voices, kick down our classroom door, and allow them to share their thoughts outside of the 27 other students in the room.
Looking forward to providing each student with their own copy of "Thirst."
