Never To Early to Become a Scientist - Science Library
My students need a 6 different series of books on topics such as environmental science, life, cycles, growing things, food & nutrition, and insects and the senses to create a science library to begin their transformation into scientific thinkers.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
What would your life be like if you never asked why or how? My students need to be surrounded with scientific language to help them develop their scientific thinking. My students need to begin asking why and how today so they can begin answering those questions tomorrow.
My students are not just the sum of their parts but much more.
They are more than the 99.8% free or reduced lunch rate at the school, the crime rate in the neighborhood, or the low socioeconomic level of their households.
My students are an energetic group of 5 and 6 year old students who are excited about learning. They are ready to become life long learners with your help.
My Project
A science library will help my students to develop their scientific thinking as well as motivate them to begin asking important questions about the world around them. Furthermore, a science library will help my students to develop interests that will help them become life long learners.
Not only will a science library help my students to become scientific thinkers but will help them become the inventors and innovators of tomorrow.
