The challenge facing my students is not having materials or supplies at this. This year my school has a high enrollment. The school does not provide materials or supplies for students. The students need school supplies to complete classwork and class projects and to have all assignments organized.
I have 30 wonderful and bright students.
They are all eager to learn many things in second grade. This, as a teacher motivates me to bring new and exciting ideas into the classroom. I teach in a neighborhood of Chicago. My school is great, unfortunately it lacks necessary funding that is greatly needed. The principal and the staff are great to work with. We all help each other in order to benefit student learning, which is most important to me as an educator. Without funding, the students are not given the accurate amount of supplies needed to complete the school year. I teach ESL Students Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies and a zillion life lessons a day. It is an extremely diverse area, and the students in my class are from various backgrounds. My students love to draw and write for all subject areas, I want them to be able to do this, so that their work keeps motivating them in learning more.
My Project
Students can be great when the teacher provides the essential tools and materials for their learning. Not providing these materials can make learning more difficult for the students. These materials will be of great help for all subject areas that we do on a daily basis. With these materials, my students will be able to complete classwork and homework assignments. These materials are needed so that they can excel in their education. For Science, my students are doing projects based on experiments that they will display for the school. For Math, students will be building Geometric figures, that is why the supplies are necessary. Having the appropriate essentials like binders will help students with classwork and organization. The binders are especially essential because the students can keep important papers in their binders. Also, the students can keep their school agendas in their binders. I have had the opportunity to use binders for about 5 years and they are great.
I need these materials for my ESL students to continue their education and learn.
Having these materials will make things better when doing their work. These materials are needed for all subject areas. Without these materials students cannot complete their classwork properly. Your help will ensure that my students get a better education. I believe that I can provide a better education when having the right tools to work with. Having these binders will give my students organization skills.
