My Students

My classroom is full of eager and creative students who receive core instruction in small group targeted sessions.

My students attend a Title I school with a school-wide free lunch and breakfast program.

Many come from neighborhoods and families with limited educational and technological resources.

All of my students receive additional services and individualized educational programming to meet their educational needs based on unique learning challenges that have been identified.

We learn best when our learning materials are interactive and engaging.

My Project

My students need multi-cultural books, wordless books for creative storytelling and writing activities, language enrichment and grammar games. All of these tools will help students build their grammar, verbal retell and written language skills that essential for their academic success.

We will be using books during both whole group and small group instruction to work on narrative production and story sequencing.

We will be utilizing wordless books during centers, asking students to write down a thoughtfully sequenced story that they could share with the whole class. So in the sense, I am hoping to get 20+ stories for each wordless book and celebrate each student's ideas, creativity and writing style.
