My Students

My students are fantastic little learners. They enter the classroom just out of second grade, so young and unsure. By the end of the second grade, they are confident decision-makers who are ready for the next step.

Third grade is a crucial time to encourage independent thinking.

Students who feel appreciated will always do more than expected. As a teacher, it is my responsibility to instill this in my students.

They are independent thinkers learning the "hows" and the "whys." My students learn how to integrate their thinking into concrete facts. Students in my classroom are led by their own independent thinking. Their learning comes from them!

My Project

Science is such a fun time for my little learners! This year I am new to third grade. It has been wonderful! Science is one of my favorite subjects to teach. The kiddos love hands-on experiments and activities. Since the third-grade curriculum is different from the second-grade curriculum, the standards are different.

My materials for the third-grade science curriculum are lacking!

These supplies would be a great "go-to" to help me teach the third-grade science curriculum and give my students an engaging hands-on experience. The shelf is meant to keep the materials safe when not in use.
