My students are lovable and kind kindergartners! They are extremely eager to learn and are very appreciative of everything that is given to them. What I enjoy most about teaching them is that they always try hard to please but sometimes it is difficult because my school lacks resources. I would love to give these children everything they deserve. Many of my students are new to the country or first generation. They come from diverse backgrounds and have a lot to share about their heritage and experiences.
We've been getting by on with what we have, but how nice would it be to really enhance these young minds by enriching their learning with supplies that are desperately needed.
My Project
My kindergarten class is learning how to write. We are requesting these primary notebook to help them learn how to form their letters correctly.
Handwriting in kindergarten is linked to basic reading and spelling achievement.
For example, when children learn how to form the letter T, they can also be learning its sound. Practicing handwriting will also reinforce their reading and spelling skills. This can help to reinforce early achievement all all ELA areas.
I am also asking for toothbrush holders to store their pencils inside. This will make sure that each child is prepare to write each day.
