Help me give my students a digital platform to practice their grade skills level skills, take notes, and collaborate with each other.

My sixth-grade class is full of a variety of unique personalities. They are intuitive, creative, funny, dramatic, kind, and mysterious. My students enjoy collaborating and working together. They are becoming life-long mathematicians, scientist, creative thinkers, and individuals with socio-emotional skills. They are such a pleasure to work with and I would like to do something special for them with your help. This project would provide my students with materials needed in a virtual setting for a variety of learning styles. With resources, encouragement, and affirmation, I’m they are able to build the efficacy need to succeed. Encouragement and affirmation are abundant, but resources are not! Your support in helping change that is very much appreciated!
Adjusting to virtual learning has been an overwhelming experience for myself as well as my students. After weeks of trail and error, we have finally set into a routine that works for us. Over the summer, I learned on many online platforms I could try in my classroom. After tying out many of them, my students have stated that Nearpod has been their favorite. I like many of the features myself.
We have been using the free version on Nearpod, which doesn't allow for many features needed in our digital classroom.
By upgrading to a Platinum account, I would be able to store additional lessons that would help differentiate the information I am conveying to my students on a daily basis. Also, my students would have the option to record their notes into the slides we are reviewing. This is essential as many of my students have reported not having school supplies such as pencils and paper. Another great feature is that it would allow for more students to participate in live lessons that have been created, which would allow this feature to benefit other 6th grade classrooms at our school.
