Help me give my students an experience that engages students with interactive and differentiated learning experiences!

My social studies class is filled with not just students, but junior investigators who are not afraid to speak their minds and convey their thoughts. It is my job to cultivate these characteristics into strong critical thinking skills. In order to do that, I often require my investigators to inquire about our lessons rather than to simply learn about the lessons. What could be considered surprising is that these students live in an area that has an abundance of federal and state assistance. However, their environments do not shape their minds: their thirst for knowledge and understanding pushes them to be better every day.
I teach my classes of junior investigators how to use primary sources to find the truth of the information uncovered throughout the year.
In my social studies class, students are not given random facts and ideas from other people, but they are given the skills that allow them to inquire, investigate, and research. By the end of the year, my students have not only gained knowledge of content, but they have obtained life long skills that they can use on their continued path of success.
As an educator, I am constantly planning ways to engage my students. With this worldwide pandemic, it is important for me to think of ways to engage my junior investigators in and out of the classroom. With the Nearpod teacher license, my investigators will have access to interactive lessons with slides, polls, game-based quizzes, VR Field Trips, websites, videos, & much more - all in one.
It is important for my junior investigators to receive Nearpod access because our near future in education will be changing, and I want to make sure they can still learn during the change.
Any platform that will allow for a differentiated and engaging way to learn will be successful for my investigators.
