Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a teacher in a low income, high poverty school, I know my students have challenges beyond what is presented in the classroom. It is my goal to make their school time safe, engaging and enlightening. All of our students are on government assistance and receive free breakfast and lunch. As with an unfortunate number of schools across the country, the physical education department is not at the top of many people's priority list. We must look to unique ways to acquire those items.

My students are eager, have lots of energy, and need opportunities to grow and learn in a fun and healthy environment.

They can take the knowledge they gain at school, and take it home to inspire their families to get up and get moving.

My Project

My students use their laptops every day for learning. All of my students have different learning styles and the challenge is to engage them all to meet their learning needs. Having a wireless mouse will help them navigate with ease so they can focus on their learning.

I would like to make technology integration as seamless as possible for my students; with your help I can put digital tools in their hands to do just that.

Having a mouse provides individual students with the opportunity to navigate with ease on their devices.
