Our school is a Title I School, located in a small, rural county. Our classrooms are filled with a diverse makeup of students that include English Language Learners, students with disabilities, and gifted students. Our students are very eager to learn, and they come to school excited for a new day. Most of our students come from low-income households, where there are limited budgets for school materials and supplies; however, their families are very supportive and very involved our school community!
The items I am requesting are natural and non-toxic products that will help keep our students healthy and prevent germs from spreading to others. With it being the beginning of the school year, germs and viruses are being spread among the students. It is important for our students to be present at school each every day so they can get the most out of the educational opportunities provided to them. When they are absent, they miss critical instruction. Some students fall behind, and it is difficult for them to catch up.
By supporting this project, you will help decrease the students' chances of getting sick from the classroom environment.
The essential oils used with the diffuser will help cleanse and purify the air, as well as protect against seasonal threats. The cleaner concentrate and white vinegar combined will create a non-toxic, all purpose cleaner that can be used to clean classroom surfaces and protect against certain environmental factors. The foaming hand wash is a gentle alternative to harsh soaps for cleansing hands.
