This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

With this project, I am hoping to become a National Board Certified Teacher. I am requesting assistance with the four components that are required for the National Board program. I want to be the best teacher that I can be, and that requires always pushing forward and learning myself. National Board Certification will give me opportunities to evaluate the professional I am, and the professional I want to be.

My students deserve the best teacher they can have. National Board certification will allow me to showcase to my students, the true meaning of a lifetime learner. By being the best I know I can be, I can further my own education, while offering the best education I can give to my students.
