My Project

My goal this year as an educator is to become a National Board Certified Teacher. National Board Certification is the most respected professional certification available in education and provides numerous benefits to teachers, students and schools. It was designed to develop, retain and recognize accomplished teachers and to generate ongoing improvement in schools nationwide.

The world is rapidly changing daily, and lessons about inclusion, anti-racism, and diversity are essential for my students' learning.

Becoming a National Board Certified teacher will prepare me to be a teacher who can impact my students' understanding of the world.

I love being a teacher, and I've always strived to learn and grow to become a better teacher. This process of becoming a National Board Certificated Teacher will allow me to have the opportunity to reflect on my teaching and to grow as an educator for my students.
