Our 5th grade students all go to a Title I school that prides itself in making sure that all students know they can succeed. Even though the majority of the students are considered at-risk, we instill in them the belief that all students can accomplish their dreams with hard work and determination.
We also help them understand that obstacles are challenges they will conquer and overcome.
Our students are excited to learn, excited to understand, and excited to have fun!!
My Project
Science has always been a wonder to explore. As teachers, we hope to inspire our students with a field trip they will never forget.
We want the students to learn about space exploration as they experience science, math, and technology.
They will also be able to interact with a Mission Mars exhibit, see a real spacecraft and a collection of spacesuits, and actually touch real moon rock! We want our students to be able to experience something that they might not ever get a chance to do again. We want these real life experiences to motive them to keep being explorers in our changing world.
