Help me give my students a HEXBUG Nano Space Cosmic Command set, a HEXBUG nano V2 Neon Infinity Loop, and HEXBUG Nano Nitro Habitat Set for our STEM activity center.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
In New Orleans, my class is preparing for the 2019 academic year. We are a high-poverty, high-achieving school.
I wish to provide a cozy, comfy classroom, an inviting place for them to learn; and I also I want to set up my class as an inviting , alluring, organized, effective classroom.
Your kind support will help me teach my gifted students how to appreciate school, have peers and bond with others of diverse backgrounds, and mainly have lots of 'fun' at school while playing and being engaged in problem-solving activities using the awesome HEXBUG kits and a set of batteries for the HEX BUGS. They will have materials readily available for creating; and our class will have centers where the students will move around freely, feel confident, and start owning their learning.
A majority of my students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds, and they represent diverse ethnicities and nationalities. Almost all take part in the free lunch program. Their parents are working two or more jobs to make ends meet, yet they support my class by volunteering.
Despite this, my gifted students are eager and my class wishes to create a better future for themselves.
My Project
These Hexbug nano sets will be inspirational and motivate my gifted students for building and creating in our science centers.
We need a HEXBUG Nano Space Cosmic Command set, a HEXBUG nano V2 Neon Infinity Loop, and Hexbug Nano Nitro Habitat Set for our STEM activity center.
Your support will help me teach my gifted students how to appreciate science and math at school while participating in STEM activities and problem solving with HEXBUG Nano sets. They will be engaged for hours in building and creating habitats for these nano HEXbugs.
I wish to teach my gifted students how to appreciate learning as a team with students from diverse backgrounds and also get my parents on board as they prefer hands-on learning to drilling worksheets.
My class wishes to create a better future for themselves by staying engaged in school learning about robotics using the HEXBUG kits. This will help them become active in learning the basics of robotics with their peers. They will learn to collaborate while competing with each other on projects using these awesome robotic kits.
