My Students
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, many of my students are faced with challenges both in and out of the classroom. I strive to provide my students with meaningful and creative learning experiences that will leave them with a positive outlook on education.
My students are energetic, creative, and clever.
From the minute they walk into my room, I focus on their potential and growth. I am not able to control what happens at home, but I can control classroom experiences and instill responsible lifelong learners!
My Project
Display student nameplates will give my students easy access to everyday supplies! These handy trays have a slot in back that nameplates slide right into, plus a molded tray in front to keep frequently used supplies—like crayons, markers or glue sticks—from rolling off of their desks. Days are short, and when my students are able to have their materials at their fingertips it helps to complete activities without distractions. These desk nameplates are an excellent way to assign seats and model correct letter formation to write their names. They also provide students with helpful references, and because they won't be picking at them they will last all year!
