My Project

All students love PE! I thought I'd try something new this year and incorporate mindful activities into their PE lessons! Why not expose students to yoga and breathing exercises to help get their brains and bodies ready to learn!

Practicing yoga is an excellent way to help students be mindful and aware of the amazing things their bodies can do!

My goal is to develop a yoga circuit class using the Yoga cards so that students can have some independence in their practice once they are taught some yoga basics. Once their yoga circuits are complete, their minds and bodies will be awake and ready to continue learning!

I can't wait to share yoga experiences with my students. They will be able to move their bodies at their own pace, and be able to share their yoga experiences with their families. What a new and fun way to enjoy their PE time at school!
