My students need the complete series of Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and Dork Diaries to add to our classroom library which will help it become more advanced as well as diverse.
My students are very enthusiastic about learning and the opportunities that I provide for them! They come in with smiles on their faces and hugs in their arms, ready to embrace me and the day we spend together. We love spending our time trying new things and learning about different ways we can gain knowledge.
I adore my students' ability to be flexible with whatever I throw at them at such a young age.
They listen to my instructions and are always eager to tackle the tasks that I place in front of them. They challenge me to be the best teacher that I can for them. I strive to help them grow as students as well as the young people they are.
In my classroom, they know they are loved and they let me know that I am loved in return. We experience failures, success, and trials together and we always come out stronger and smarter than before!
My Project
My students love to checkout books from the library we have in our very own classroom! I keep an inventory of the books and students actually 'check them out' using the apps we have on our technology. This series is one that is popular throughout the whole school building. That means that the books my students are wanting to read in the series are not always readily available for them. I am wanting to purchase the complete set so that my students have easier access to it. The Harry Potter series and Percy Jackson series is referenced with students conversation as well as in some activities we do since it is of high interest to the majority of them.
