Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I work with a group of 12 very unique students who require a greater level of instructional support. My students range from ages 13-18 years old. Each of my students have their own character and I love it.

All students deserve to receive the opportunity to excel in their academics.

Being that no two individuals are exactly the same, I cherish every moment that I am given to have a chance to impact the future of each of my students.

My Project

With classes lasting for only 90 minutes and 12 students sharing 10 laptops each day, everyone does not always get their work submitted on time. Getting more laptops would serve as a great benefit to help to connect my students with technology to complete their work on time each day.

It is a very delightful feeling to see the amount of energy that my students show when they complete an assignment on time.

It would be a memorable sight to see the expression on their faces if there were enough computers for everyone to work together at the same time.
