My Students Need Technology Readily Available in the Classroom!
Help me give my students Chromebooks to use in centers for math and reading skills! There are so many programs I would like my students to use to increase math, fluency, and reading comprehension.
My 3rd-grade students are truly amazing. They come to school every morning ready to learn. Many of my students, though, need extra help academically to reach grade level. Many of them are at 1st or 2nd-grade level. There is such a wide range in skill level and it is very crucial that each students' needs are met. I am implementing various methods to reach all of my students. Laptops would help cover skills that each individual student is lacking.
Laptops would be very beneficial in helping meet the needs of my wide range of students, academically.
Part of a good education in today's society happens with the use of technology. My class could use laptops for learning activities such as Spelling City, Moby Max, Khan Mappers, and more. During center time, it would be very beneficial to have a small set of classroom laptops so students could practice math facts, research, study spelling words, listen to a book and answer comprehension questions , and so much more.
My Project
I would like to use Khan Mappers for individualized math skills and Epic Books for my struggling readers. These are activities my students can use in centers while I'm having small group. These programs are a great way for my students to practice skills personalized to their MAP scores. Khan Mappers generates questions that help students learn missing skills from their MAP tests deficiencies.
I would like to have newer laptops that don't take up to ten minutes to turn on.
My students lose out on valuable time just logging in. It is very frustrating.
Please help me provide laptops for my students who need the extra help on certain skills.
