This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
As a kindergarten teacher, I spend each day with 20 kids. They all have different lifestyles, backgrounds, and personalities. Although each of my students are different, there is one thing they all have in common and that is they come to school everyday ready to learn. They all deserve a quality education. Our school is located in the Black Belt area. It is considered a Title I School. One hundred percent of the students at our school receive free lunch.
My students are full of energy and excited about learning.
My Project
Technology is a huge part of my classroom today. In classrooms everywhere, you can see technology like tablets, MP3 players, iPads, and computer just to list a few. A Chromebook could be used in my classroom to help students build on their math and literacy skills. Having Chromebooks in the classroom, allow students to have access to program such as MobyMax, AR, Performance Series, and so many more.
Every students has the ability to learn in a positive, loving environment that will give them the courage to succeed in his or her adult life.
Today's students are digital learners and they need to be exposed to completing more work online. It is an easy way to engage them and reach students in today's technological world.
