My Students

My students are my second family. They have demonstrated to me I can trust them, and in the same way, they can trust me. I like that they are confident with me. Every morning they come to my desk where I am always waiting for them and to share stories of their lives or about their families, also some problems that are affecting their lives recently (this is really good because I get to know them better and how can I help them).

I love the fact that my students like to work in centers, even if in my school centers are not the way that most teachers work in their classrooms.

In order to work in small centers with them, I take them out of the classroom to the common areas. This is usually their favorite part of the day because I share cookies, or candies in order to motivate them.

My Project

I am a Spanish Teacher in RIOS program (Spanish language Immersion School) I am teaching Spanish as a second language and I think that working with them in small centers will improve their learning a lot.

My students love working in centers and I can work differentiation in my class by working also in small groups.

These stools will motivate my students and also will be more motivated to being seated in a no traditional chair.

In the other hand, having these new stools in my classroom will be no necessity to bring my centers out of the classroom in order to work with them from 20 to 25 minutes every class.
