My students are from low-income families and many do not have the basic supplies they need. While in my classroom, I try to give them many new experiences and a place where they can feel safe.
Many of my students are two and three years old right now and are actively learning dual languages and how to interact with the world.
My students enjoy art projects and running around outside and in the gross motor room. One of their favorites activities is the sensory bin!
My Project
My students come from homes that don't have access to many books. That's why I try to get my students many different types of books to read at school!
My students love yelling NO to the Pigeon when we read Don't let the Pigeon drive the Bus!
It's wonderful to see them so enthusiastic about a book. I definitely want to support their learning with more books.
The children immediately notice when I put new books out on the bookshelf and I really hope I can put some new Pigeon and Piggie books out for them to enjoy!
