My Students

My third graders are very eager learners. They are a special group that come from diverse cultures; Asian, African, Middle Eastern and Hispanic. Although we come from different backgrounds we are all excited to learn about each other.

Our community is very involved and look for many ways to build our school's learning environment.

Our students are our future therefore, our staff and parents work together to ensure they have a successful learning experience. We try to give our students the opportunity to learn to their fullest potential with all the tools needed to make them successful learners!

My Project

There is a lot of learning that takes place in our classroom. However, it is the outside world they could learn from so much more. How could I expose them to the outside world? With technology! My students do a lot of group work in all of their subjects. That is a time where they are given the independency to tackle different tasks and use their troubleshooting skills to solve and investigate concepts they learned. Providing them with laptops will give them a tool to be able to act independently to search for those answers on their own. This skill will prepare my students for their careers as well. Learning can be so much fun and laptops can make that happen!
