This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from California and go to a Title I school. 100% of them qualify for free/reduced lunch. My students are strong, determined, and curious to learn more. They are not defined by their situations or how they have grown up, but by how hard they work to overcome what sets them back. Some of my students are still learning English. My students have big dreams, goals, and aspirations that push them every day to achieve what they dream of.

My Project

My students deserve to go on a field trip to the San Francisco Academy of Science! Unfortunately, there are ZERO funds available for field trips at our Title I School. We don't have a PTA who can raise funds for us and we need generous donors like yourself to help us out! This field trip will give my students the opportunity to see first hand science! They are so passionate about the subject and have been learning about various science elements through enrichment in the classroom. This field trip will take it to the next level!

My students deserve to have the same experiences as their wealthier counterparts in hills schools.

We live so close to San Francisco yet many of my students have never been there before. This hands-on, real-life experience will make learning come alive for them. We will not be able to go without your help! We need your help to make this happen!
