My Students Deserve A Standing Chance at Education!
Help me give my students adjustable desks to have the ability to be able to work in an environment that is geared towards their physical abilities and limitations.
My students are happy to be in class. They are eager to learn and battle through their barriers with strength and perseverance.
My students range from learning disabled to students on the Autism Spectrum.
My lessons must be visually stimulating and interactive in order to maintain whole class engagement. My students love working together and enjoy their accomplishments as a whole class. They want to do well and work hard to do so. They are truly an inspiration to me.
My Project
My Special Education students are very diversified and eager to learn! I have several students who need to be able to incorporate movement in their daily routine. Sitting still at a desk is not always ideal for them.
Having standing desks in my diversified classroom will afford these students the ability to participate in lessons, complete their work confidently and help them stay on task.
I would love to be able to give my wonderful students this opportunity by supplying them with new furniture. The added bonus of the whiteboard tops will come in handy during fun, interactive lessons too.
