Help me give my students basic classroom supplies. We are quickly running out of the normal things that help make a classroom run smoothly. Teaching special education laminate, velcro, and magnetic tape are used daily.
I teach at a school with many low-income families and have the honor of teaching my K-1 rockstars! My kids have a wide range of abilities but they are tough and never give up! We work HARD during the day but we like to play too!
I love working with my amazing students!
I spent 15 years teaching ESE in middle school and then moved to a ESE K-2 program! Elementary school is like being on another planet (but a fantabulous one!) My kids deserve every little thing I can give them and if I can help lower the burden on their families than to me it is worth every dime!
I customize task boxes and morning work for each student. All of those items are printed in color at home, laminated, and then I use velcro. It's important that they are durable so my kids who like to pick or chew aren't able to mess up any of the materials. They love to learn. and having items they can touch, move, and use repeatedly help them to learn more.
We love to make adaptive books using pictures of our students and community.
Each student also gets customized work that has to be printed in color at my house, laminated, and then we attach velcro to a lot of their activities.
