Teaching special education is so rewarding! My students are my family and the coolest people I know. Working with all ranges and abilities helps me become more patient, compassionate, and understanding. Working with my students who have exceptionalities can be challenging but watching their accomplishments is so rewarding.

My Project
I have made the transition from teaching pre-k for 24 years in the Chicago area to teaching k-6 special education in south central IL.
I am excited to be able to continue to do what I love doing everyday.
After teaching last year and this year, I have found that I need more stimulating materials to help support my students. Every child has strengths, talents, and capabilities. I want my students to have positive and engaging experiences in my classroom. We need a few things to make this a great year and I would love your help. If you can help, please check out my list below. Your support is appreciated.
The puzzles and hands-on materials will help me to offer many choices, while adhering to the COVID safety measures.
