Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart! This is exactly what I want to do as a teacher. I want to be able to open the minds of my students and show them what the world has to offer.

I have the pleasure of teaching dynamic students who are all aspiring to become future teachers.

Our students work hard on a daily basis to learn everything they can about becoming an effective teacher. Being from an area that is poverty-stricken and has a high rate of high school dropouts, they are trying to beat the odds by becoming teachers and one day giving back to their community by providing children with a high-quality education.

My students work tirelessly performing duties, working on projects, serving as teacher assistants, and learning information that will provide them with a foundation for a teaching career.

My Project

The traditional view of school has changed due to Covid in which many of my students are virtual and learning from the comfort of their home. As a teacher, I have to sit for long periods of time in front of a computer providing effective instruction to my students. Sitting for long periods of time places a great deal of strain on my body in which it sometimes becomes uncomfortable. However, I have a responsibility as a teacher to make sure my students are learning and growing by any means necessary. The use of a Arozzi - Mugello Special Edition Gaming Chair's ergonomic features such as soft cushioned headrest, pneumatic height adjustment, and back stress prevention will allow me to sit comfortably at my computer and teach my students daily.
