My Students
My students are hardworking and come to class excited to learn on a daily basis. Many of my students come from families that are near or below the poverty line, and they often have very little to no money to spend on technology items that would make their school experience far better. I love that even though many are socioeconomically challenged, they still push through and give me their best.
My Project
Having these tools will greatly improve my students' ability to see and interact with my lessons. Because of distance learning, my students, as of now, are having to watch me write on an actual whiteboard that is being recorded by a camera. Because of the lighting in my room, the glare off the whiteboard, and the size of some screens, I know it isn’t the easiest for students to see what I am doing.
With an iPad and Apple Pencil, I will be able to share my entire screen seamlessly through Zoom.
My students will be able to clearly see my screen, and my writing will be legible and will make sense to them. I have demoed this on an iPad, and my students loved it and could see my instruction so much more clearly.
