My Project

In first grade, students bloom as mathematicians! I have an inquisitive group of students that will gain a better understanding of number sense and will expand their math abilities by using manipulatives. It is fascinating to support my students' different learning paths as they acquire mathematical understanding. Being able to offer varied tools is imperative for my wide range of learners to become successful mathematicians.

Math Manipulatives make learning math interesting and enjoyable for everyone!

My students love hands-on experiences and these math tools will help them learn by allowing them to move from concrete experiences to abstract reasoning. I will use these math manipulatives to enhance my math lessons and be able to physically experience my students connecting the concepts they are learning. By having access to a variety of tools, my students will hone their mathematical thinking skills.
