My students need 2 iPad Minis with head phones to add to my centers.
Kindergarten isn't what is was when you were in school. It probably isn't even what it was two years ago. Children at this level are now expected to read and write at the end of the year. To achieve this I strive to meet every child where they are and help them to achieve their full potential.
I teach 44 actively engaged learners that benefit from hands on learning.
The children come to me from different backgrounds and at different skill levels. Our school motto is, "Every child...Everyday...Whatever It Takes." We truly live this motto. To reach this I strive daily to provide opportunities for them to learn while having fun and keeping the skills needed meaningful to them.
The addition of two iPad Minis with head phones would be a great way to engage the children in necessary skills to achieve their goals of become readers and writers while creating a fun learning environment. I would primarily use them for center activities but could also use them for small group learning and private tutoring.
The benefits of these items would be endless in and out of my classroom.
I would ensure that the children were engaged in age appropriate activities that meet them at their level and challenged them to meet the skills they need to be successful.
