This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are truly amazing young people. Our school is made of a true melting pot located in a small neighborhood in the Bread and Roses City of Lawrence, Massachusetts. My students think of their school as the Taj Mahal and treat every day as if it were an adventure. Here we are in a small part of a big city celebrating every moment.

It is my job to inspire inquiry in this scientific classroom.

These young minds are reading to drink up the knowledge.

My Project

We are asking for a color printer and color ink for our science lab. We are an amazing group of scientists ranging from Kindergarten to Second grade. We have science twice a week and often have to share copies of papers for our investigations because a color printer is not available. It is really hard to be enthusiastic in black and white when we know that the coral reef is spectacular. My students use their imagination when looking at photos of the redwood forest. It would be so fulfilling and beneficial if my students had the appropriate materials to learn about such import scientific information.
