My Students

Our classroom is a place for students to explore learning through play and challenge themselves. We are a Special Education Preschool classroom located in a rural school district. Many of my students live on farms or in the country and our classroom is sometimes their first interaction with peers.

In our classroom, we encourage students' creativity and challenge them to learn through hands-on exploration.

We are always looking for fun and innovative ways for students to learn. We are looking to grow our resources to give students a variety of learning opportunities.

My Project

Every student's family is unique! This dollhouse will help students learn and explore different family qualities. They will also be able to play and explore family roles and how family members care for each other. Students will role-play as family members of different ages. This will help them learn about ages and stages of human growth and development. Students can create a home and make families with this dramatic play set. As an extension of this students could write/draw about the family that they have created and practice letter formation.
