My students need paper and ink to keep their projects going. We want their creativity to develop as they explore English as a New Language.

My Students

My students are Brooklyn learners who are discovering their skills as English Language Learners. They have an amazing desire to work and learn. However, the biggest challenge is to effectively give them enough valuable resources.

My students are creative thinkers and make do with our limited budgets.

The state has cut our budgets but we need some storage boxes, folders, notebooks and pens. These provisions are the most basic resources that English language learners can have. They are resources that assist the learning process in the most basic way.

My Project

My students will use the colorful paper to create writings in English. In addition they will create reports in English. For many this is a struggle but through color and creativity we will develop their writing skills in each grade level. We as teachers try to make the difference in learning and the supplies are necessary and important to develop that special learning experience. Writing produced on the computer allows my students to enjoy the opportunity to be a creative writer. The ink needed is something we cannot do without. Paper and ink are the necessary tools to win the learning battle towards teaching English as a New Language.
