My Students
My students are wonderfully creative and imaginative thinkers. They amaze me with their innovative ideas and creativity! They are energetic and eager to learn!
My students love to learn from one another and they are very collaborative, cooperative learners.
We participate in many small group learning activities, and they are always respectful and thoughtful toward one another. We have a very diverse classroom, which makes our learning community even more special. These students are smart, motivated to learn, and passionate third graders!
My Project
My third grade students engage in motivational online learning programs everyday. These online programs include short videos, stories, and tutorials that make headphones an essential piece of technology in our classroom.
Throughout the day there are many opportunities for my students to use online programs to enhance their learning.
During math rotations, students use programs like Dreambox to practice their math number sense. Students who are behind in their ability to read or are still learning English are able to access programs that read directions to them, read stores to them, and allow them to practice blending words.
Having headphones in our classroom will greatly assist students in being successful in accessing online tools.
