My Students

My third graders are a wonderful group of students from our rural town. They represent a diverse group of families, with many from low to middle income homes.

My students are avid readers, writers, scientists, mathematicians, artists, and historians!

They enjoy learning and achieving success, and will definitely benefit from your generous donation to our project!

Your donation will increase student engagement for learning! Students will enter daily with enthusiasm and excitement to learn, simply by giving them choice seating options. Thank you so much for your generous contribution and willingness to support the next generation of learners!

My Project

My students love to express themselves daily in writing about all subjects. They author their own fiction and nonfiction stories, ranging from science and math topics to imagining their own fairy tales.

Having a variety of publishing supplies with colorful paper and markers will entice proud and even reluctant writers to write often.

Students can edit with their peers, using the range of Post-It notes and markers. They will feel empowered daily to write with their new tools and be proud when their work is displayed in the hallway, on our classroom bulletin boards, and in our author baskets of the classroom library! They will see themselves as authors of math and science research or creative narrators of tall tales and realistic fiction. Their true spirit will be filled with praise and pride each time they publish their writing!
