This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
If I had to describe my students in just a few words I would say enthusiastic, loving, excited, and energetic. They are a community and they all learn in their own unique ways. All of my students are enthusiastic when it comes to hands-on activities, lessons, and projects. They love hands-on experiences and they want to learn new things every day.
The students in this district come from a low socioeconomic background and they often cannot afford school supplies but my kids put their issues aside to learn in the best ways that they can.
They work hard and take ownership of their own learning. Every student in my classroom has a unique background and they are searching for their own voice. Each one, brings important thoughts, opinions, and lessons to our classroom.
My Project
Hello, I am asking for some materials for our classroom are essential for the return of school. We need pencils for the end of the school year. We do not have a lot of pencils left and they are constantly used for math and writing projects. We need crayons for the end of the school year so we can replenish the old ones and keep coloring and illustrating our work. We also could really use some new markers for projects.
These materials are essential for the rest of the year because students are going to need these supplies for the return of school after the COVAD-a9 epidemic.
Our students cannot afford these essential supplies.
Anything that you can donate would be extremely helpful. Thank you for your time!
