This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am fortunate to teach music to students that try hard every day. My students are excited to learn about and create music. Our resources are extremely limited. I would love to give my students the opportunity to create music and practice the music notation they are learning hands on. These pianos will allow the students to hear each note first hand. They will be able to explore music notation, pitch, and melody right in their own classroom. This will also allow students to create their own musical pieces first hand.
