Help me give my students high quality microphones to use as they perform musical theater shows for thousands of students and members of the community three times a year!

My Project

We are excited to be growing a musical theater program at Surgoinsville Middle School in a rural county with few performance opportunities! Over the last five years our musical theater program has performed ten hour long Broadway adaptations for middle school students.

We have recently started inviting students from across the region, who do not have opportunities for musical theater in their home schools, to be involved in our shows and growing our impact.

Our casts now consists of over 50 students each show. Our latest show, Annie Jr, was performed ten times for over 2,000 students and community members!

The other directors and I are inspired to volunteer our time after school and on weekends to give opportunities to our talented and dedicated students. Our students rehearse after school and even get up on Saturday mornings for rehearsals.

Musicals can be difficult to follow even with the most experienced performers. The use of quality microphones made for theater enhances the student and audience's experience during a performance. Please help our students be heard as they perform through your support of our project.
