Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our classroom very much enjoys using technology in the classroom. We are very fortunate to have what we have at our school, but still lack some basic necessities in terms of technology materials. We are a Title I school in Maywood, CA. Our students come from diverse Latino backgrounds. The students in our room are very appreciative and extremely hard working. They come from a low-income neighborhood but still come to school with a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn. Since our funds are limited, the majority of the school budget will go towards Language Arts and Math curriculum. We are looking to purchase a class set of musical recorders to learn in the classroom. We do not get much time for art and music, and would like to learn to play the recorders as a class. Thank you for your time and consideration. It is greatly appreciated.
My Project
Our class would like to learn how to play these recorders as a class. We do not get a lot of opportunities for art and music lesson, so we would like to learn as a class, and maybe play some songs for the school when we learn them.
Learning to play the recorders will help us be more focused and motivated in our learning.
This will be a great way to learn new skills and work together a a class. Thank you for considering support in our musical endeavors. It is greatly appreciated, and we will make sure they are put to great use.
