My Students

The students at my school are hard-working, dedicated musicians who are always looking for more musical opportunities to challenge them and help them grow. They truly deserve the best equipment to help them achieve their musical goals.

My students come from many diverse backgrounds, but their quest for musical excellence brings them together.

Many students at my school would not be provided the opportunity to participate in a band, choir, orchestra steel drum band, or music class without attending this school.

My Project

Music should not always be structured. Students need opportunities to explore music and sounds in an unstructured environment in order to be more creative with musical concepts. That is why I am requesting funds for musical playground equipment for our main playground area which is going to be rebuilt this year.

This equipment will be accessible to all students at our school and will allow students to play individually or as a group to explore, perform and create music as they please as they play on the playground.

The set I am requesting includes melodic and rhythmic instruments (7 tubular bells, a large babel drum, and 5 rainbow sambas).
