This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our class is filled with fifth graders who are eager to learn daily! While growing up in the inner city has its challenges, our fifth graders push through their adversity as they engage in literacy and explore science and math. Their desire to become more and surpass their circumstances makes teaching exciting!

My scholars simply need the same access to a plethora of resources to help level the playing field with their counterparts in other districts.

My Project

Please give my students options within our classroom. Sitting in the same spot all day and become tiring. The stools requested will enable students to have easy and accessible choices of where they want to sit in our classroom.

These stools will allow students to move closer the board to see when necessary, or to quickly create a small collaborative group!

These stools will allow endless possibilities as they are light weight, can be stored easily, and carried to virtually any part of our classroom. They will also help when we need to move around the room for indoor recess as the weather starts to change.
