My Students

My students are full of energy and love for music. I teach a variety of students. Many of my students are ESL learners and quite a few have special needs. I teach in an urban area where school is the only place that they have musical opportunities. I'm always looking for ways to reach ALL my students.

These books will give my students the opportunity to learn a variety of songs as well as keeping them actively engaged through singing and instrument playing.

My Project

These books will give my students new music to sing and play along with. We will be able to use the sheet music to build our ability to read music notation and song lyrics to build vocabulary and reading fluency.

The accompaniment CDs will add interest and energy to the musical performances at programs throughout the year for parents and the community.

They will make it easier for the students to follow the music with as well as making the activities more interesting and engaging.

The new music in these collections will add variety to the class setting and help to add more interest in music class. The more interested the students are, the more they will learn.
