Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Monday through Friday, I come prepared to teach wonderful groups of students. They are bright-eyed, capable learners who are our future leaders. Providing these students and our school with a high quality PA system, will make an immediate and lasting impact.
Give our students an opportunity to shine and be heard.
Our PA system is old, outdated, and on its last leg. A new system will allow us to inspire students schoolwide with music, positive messaging, and announcements. Additionally, the new system will allow faculty, guests, and students to project their voices and be heard during schoolwide assemblies, presentations, and events. This will allow everyone to feel connected. Furthermore, a PA system will allow all students and staff to clearly hear and deliver directions and messages in the event of an emergency, which will increase overall student and school safety. Lastly, the PA system will allow us to play music. Plato was quoted stating, “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.” I too believe in the power and ability of music to inspire and motivate. Music is an emotionally powerful tool that can immediately lift our moods, bring a smile to our faces, and make us move.
