This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My high school students are full of talent and continuously look for ways to express themselves. They are amazing young people with personalities that would inspire anyone to continue teaching. They have chosen to stay in music through high school because they are interested in creating and experiencing music.

My Project

In these current times, we are striving to advance the way that the band takes place in our building and community. These iPads, headphones, a locking cabinet, Apple Care, and Apple TV will allow our students to have a virtual band folder to keep their music and to learn marching drills.

Our students need to have less contact with paper classroom materials and these devices will do just that!

These devices will also help students explore music interfaces, record, and playback for immediate feedback while engaging students in music using 21st-century technology.
