This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a very low economic area. Both parents struggle to put food on the table for the family. My students are always ready and willing to learn. My students are happy when they enter the classroom. I teach in a Title I school where all the students receive free lunch.

Our school tries its best to supply us with what we need, but, unfortunately, not everything is purchased for us.

I'm grateful for what we get, but it is limited.

My Project

Our morning routine consists of singing our morning learning songs. The JBL bluetooth speaker would project the sound more lively than my laptop does. They would be able to sing along when they can actually hear the words clearer.

Sounds are more vibrant and alive when you hear them clearly.

The speaker would give that to my students. Songs would be heard better through a speaker. Stories read aloud on the computer would also be heard a lot clearer than coming from the speaker of a laptop. The JBL bluetooth speaker would make a great addition to our class.
